Message	If you're just swapping with a 98+ tranny, you should DIY with a friend. Not hard at all. If you can get the car high enough, you can slide it out the back (or front, depending on orientation) out the garage door. I'd also search on the 98 being "better". Getting your OEM tranny rebuilt may be a more cost effective option, per the FAQ someone posted here. You can then focus your search on a competent transmission shop.
